    现阶段，初中地理课堂教学如果只采用传统的教学形式，单纯让学生背诵书本知识，无益于学生对知识的理解以及学生能力的提高。由此，就需要教师基于新课程改革理念，树立一种新的教学观念，将地图的讲解融入地理课堂之中，形成以图导学的新模式。下面本文就初中地理以图导学教学模式的应用进行简要探讨。
