    Abstract：

    中学阶段是学生打基础的一个重要时间，学生英语学习材料不广，主要以教材为主。教材是教师教学和学生学习的重要资源，中学生的英语听力输入材料主要来源于教材。因此，教材中听力活动内容会直接影响学生的听力水平。本文通过研究初中英语外研社教材中的听力活动，分析其优缺点，并根据教材中存在的问题，给编写者改进教材提供建议，同时给教师提出教材使用的建议，以提高初中学生的英语听力能力。
