Abstract：
我国目前正在积极地进行新课程改革，教育部门在此基础上提出了“素质教育”的发展目标，为此如何在教学中培养学生的综合素养成为当下教师的重点研究课题，而在初中英语教学中又可将培养学生综合素质转化为强化他们的核心素养，也就是从思维品质、语用能力、学习能力、文化意识等基本要素出发探索高效教学法，将阅读作为重要载体，引导学生在读中思考、读中解决实际问题，最终成功将所学内化并产生跨文化意识，为未来学习和发展提供有力保障。
