    在科学技术不断发展的背景之下，继电保护技术进入全新的发展节点，需要及时更新智能变电站的发展理念，规划运行维护管理思路，切实提高变电站设备运行的安全性与稳定性，推动电网建设实现可持续发展。本文首先说明了智能变电站继电保护的特点，然后分析了继电保护面临的机遇和挑战，最后详细阐述了智能变电站继电保护装置的运行和维护管理策略。
