Abstract：
现如今，社会发展越来越快，我们国家也走在时尚的前沿，国家发展越来越国际化。对于英语的学习越来越引起人们的重视。而初中英语作为英语教学中一个重要的时期，更是要引起老师的格外关注。初中时期英语阅读教学，要做到为学生英语学习打好知识基础，与此同时,还要对学生的文化意识进行培养，这两者是需要同时进行的，缺一不可。在课堂教学阶段，应该通过哪种教学方法来培养学生的文化意识，这是广大教育者们需要深入思考的问题。
