Abstract：
在高职课程体系中，高职英语课程是一门面向所有专业和所有学生且开课学期时数长的公共基础课程，兼具工具性与人文性。在实际教学过程中，教师必须要结合学生就业方向选择教学内容，并采用创新的教学模式，科学设计和实施英语课堂活动，使整个英语教学课堂符合高职学生的实际需求，进而从根本上激发其学习热情，大幅度提升其英语学科核心素养。
