    Abstract：

    英语是国家性语言，也是人和人之间沟通交流的重要工具。英语从某种程度上说和任何语言都有着相同特性，即为独立化语法系统、词汇系统、语音系统等。初中英语教学当中，培养学生自主学习能力是非常重要的，有助于提升综合素质水平，为终身学习和发展奠定基础。基于此，本文阐述了初中英语教学中学生自主学习能力培养的重要意义，并提出了初中英语教学中学生自主学习能力培养策略，希望为新时期初中英语教学过程中学生自主学习能力的培养提供可行性参考建议。
