Abstract：
词汇是英语学习的基础，教师要对英语词汇教学重视起来。在平时教师要多下功夫进行英语词汇教学的研究，找到适合词汇学习、同时又利于学生接受的英语词汇教学方法，提高学生英语词汇的学习能力，增加学生的英语词汇量。在新时期的高中英语教学中，教师要更新自己传统的英语词汇教学观念和教学方式，通过多种手段丰富课堂教学，激发学生学习热情，从而丰富学生词汇量，使学生的英语综合素质得到不断探索。
