    Abstract：

    随着素质教育、立德树人等教育理念的提出，开展高质量的大学生德育教学工作，已经成为各大高校日常教育教学工作的重要组成部分。大学英语是典型的人文类学科，其教育活动中包含着“教”“育”两个层面，想要有效促进新时代大学生自身综合素养的提升，需要高校能够充分结合“教”与“育”，积极落实全面育人工作。本文针对大学英语教学与德育教育工作结合的必要性以及两者关系进行探究，并提出促进二者融合的优化措施，以供参考。
