林纾，晚清著名的古文家，翻译家，以一部《巴黎茶花女遗事》开启晚清翻译小说热潮。本文将采用读者反应批评视角，从翻译对象来探析为何林译小说在晚清接受度极高，并分析林译小说在五四的批评趋向。
