基础英语课程目的变化及英语课程工具性和人文性的统一

Abstract：
20世纪至21世纪，我国外语教育不断发展，基础英语教育的目的也在不断变化，从单纯传授英语听说读写知识技能向提高学生全面素质的方向转变，英语学习也显现出工具性和人文性的双重性质。英语是一门工具性和人文性相统一的学科，英语课程既要教授学生语言知识，也要培养学生的人文素养。本文介绍了20世纪至21世纪基础英语教育目的的变化。针对英语课堂教学工具性和人文性的双重性质，对如何实现工具性和人文性相融合的英语课堂提出了一些建议。
