    Abstract：

    机械密封作为一种被广泛应用的密封方式，已成为流体密封技术重要的动密封形式。随着密封行业标准要求不断提高以及工业整体的发展，机械密封设计与制造技术是当前流体传动与控制领域发展的重点对象之一，且对于机械密封的发展也提出了更高的要求。机械密封在实际运行期间极易受各种因素影响而产生各种密封故障，对机械密封的实际使用安全及寿命造成影响。鉴于此，文章主要围绕着化工机械发生密封故障的原因以及有效应对策略开展深入的研究和探讨。
