Abstract：
《英语课程标准》提出，义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质，就人文性而言，英语课程承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务。而其中重要的一点即通过英语课程了解世界，拓展视野，提高跨文化交际能力。《英语课程标准》中还指出要根据实际教学需要创造性地使用教材，因此根据学生需求对单元内容进行整体设计，对内容进行了适当的补充和删减。
