Abstract：
新课标对初中英语阅读教学工作的开展提出了非常具体的要求，将核心素养的培养提到了重要的位置上。思维品质是初中英语课程教学中非常重要的一项核心素养培养内容。从英语课程的内容结构角度分析，阅读教学对促进学生的思维品质发展具有重要的作用，本文结合初中英语阅读课程教学的具体内容，探讨如何在教学实践中培养和发展学生的思维品质。
