    Abstract：

    随着教育改革的不断深化，高中英语教学的方向已经发生了变化，要由应试教育方向向素质教育方向转变。其中“减负提质”是实施素质教育的重要前提和基础，要通过减轻无谓的课业负担，更好地保障高中英语课堂教学的效果，在教学中实现对学生综合能力及素养的培养，促使每一位学生都有获得全面发展的机会。本文对高中英语教学中的问题进行了分析，提出了“减负提质”背景下高中英语教学的具体策略，旨在全面提高高中英语教学的质量和效率。
