    校报作为高校党委和行政的喉舌，对内联系师生、以文化人、凝聚人心，对外塑造学校形象、提升学校知名度、美誉度、影响力，是高校新闻宣传的重要平台与窗口。彼时，高校新闻媒介单一，校报“一家独大”，而随着新媒体的发展，各种新媒体平台不断挤压校报生存空间，如何在此种媒介环境下，闯出一条生存之路，是校报面临的重要课题，也是校报编辑素养提升的应有之意。
