Abstract：
在《大学英语课程教学要求》中明确指出，在对学生进行教学的过程中，要建立“因材施教”的教学思想，这说明大学英语应该制定三个不同等级的目标，分别为基础、提升以及发展，各个高等院校要按照自身的实际需求，明确起始层次，开展分级教学。分级教学能够促使学生英语水平不断升高，调动学生英语学习热情，为学生提供大量展示自我的机会，满足学生的心理需求，提高学生学习的积极性。对此，本文首先介绍大学英语分级教学的重要性，然后详细说明应用型本科高校大学英语分级教学的策略。
