Abstract：
阅读是英语教学的四大板块之一，是核心素养培养的重要途径，阅读是一个极其复杂的心理过程，阅读者要通过阅读作者留下的文字信息来懂得其意图。通过阅读教学能够提升学生的学习动力，拓展学生的视野，提升其学习质量，教师在授课中要从语言表达能力、思维能力、文化品质、学习思维四个角度对学生进行英语学科核心素养培养。当前英语教学中存在着教学观念落后、教师主导性太强的问题，本文旨在探讨在核心素养背景下进行英语阅读教学改革的方法。
