Abstract：
在新课标推行的背景下，英语教学模式进行了一定的改革，但仍然存在许多问题，英语阅读教学存在着阅读质量不高，学生对英语阅读兴趣低下等问题，教师应积极分析英语课外阅读中存在的问题，针对这些问题改革教学模式，创新教学思维，对学生的英语阅读进行适当的指导和帮助。
