    小学生知识储备不足，社会实践经验匮乏，很难理解晦涩难懂的语文知识，而要想解决这一问题，促进学生积累知识和经验，教师必须要加强语文阅读教学，但如何提升学生的阅读素养和能力，一直是困扰教师的教学难题。本文就小学语文教学中如何提升学生的阅读能力，进行简要的分析与探讨，希望能够给小学语文教师阅读教学提出一些有价值的建议。
