    英语是一种交际工具，英语教学的目的是培养学生使用这种交际工具的能力。在初中阶段，英语课程标准要求学生掌握一定的语音基本知识和基本技能；建立初步的语感，获得初步运用英语的能力。而良好的语感是学好英语的关键。
