Abstract：
在初中体育与健康课程中，足球教学作为一项深受学生喜爱的项目，在初中体育与健康教学过程中有着重要的位置，但是当下的初中足球教学相对来说较为枯燥，而如何提高学生的学习兴趣，增强课堂的趣味性，成为初中体育与健康教师要考虑的问题，而游戏教学法是目前许多老师会考虑采用的方法，本文就通过对当前初中足球教学中存在的问题进行梳理，对足球游戏特征及作用进行说明，提出了游戏教学法在初中足球教学中运用的可行性以应用的策略。
