Abstract：
课外阅读教学是初中英语教学中最为主要的一部分，因此，教师应对课外阅读教学提高重视程度，由此注重引导学生加强课外阅读训练，并在课堂上为学生预留充足的时间自主阅读课外英语文章，使学生有机会自主阅读英语语句，学生阅读中不仅能培养英语语感，还能促进词汇积累，提高写作水平，培养学生的英语综合能力大有帮助，是学好英语的主要手段和有效途径。同时教师在阅读教学中落实多元化的教学策略，能使学生的阅读能力得到提高。
