通过调查我们发现，小说是最受学生欢迎的一种体裁，具有重要的教育意义，特别是在英语阅读教学中。小学素材在英语教学中体现，能够充分激发学生的学习兴趣，调动学生的积极性和主动性，对提高学生的阅读能力和理解能力，以及丰富学生的词汇含量均有重要的作用。本文以实际教学为背景，阐述了小学素材在英语教学中的作用，供大家参考借鉴。
