Abstract：
初中阶段的学生需要学习很多科目，每一个科目都有它独特的学科特点和要培养的能力。每个学科也有自己的学科核心素养，当然地理学科也一样。只有在地理学科核心素养的引导下设计地理教学，教师才能完成一堂高效的地理课堂。本文重在解释何为地理核心素养以及将其应用于地理课堂的方法和好处。
