    英语的模糊性是英语语言研究的重要内容。从语用的角度讲，模糊性能够丰富语言信息，提高语言表达效果，因此，研究者应根据英语模糊性的特点，重视语境、言外之意的分析，把握英语交际中模糊语言的功能和应用方法，进而为跨文化背景下的语言交流提供支持。
