Abstract：
新课程改革的主要目的是培养核心素养，任何课程的改革都脱离不了这个根本目标，高中英语阅读教学自然也要朝着这个方向发展。高中英语阅读教学长期以来关注的是语言能力发展，未树立核心素养的意识，导致语言知识学习无法与学习能力、个人品格、文化素养、思维等协调统一，影响了学生全面发展。对此，教师可对高中英语阅读教学的主要问题进行分析，对于英语阅读教学培养核心素养的必要性进行探析。
