    我国经济的快速发展，国家对GIS技术和地理信息产业的要求不断提高，探索现代技术在地理信息产业中的应用，可以进一步促进我国GIS技术和地理信息产业的快速发展。在此基础上，本文首先分析了我国国内GIS技术和地理信息产业的发展特点，然后进一步探索研究了GIS和地理信息产业今后的发展趋势，以便相关人士参考。
