Abstract：
新课改强调了核心素养在教学中的重要性，核心素养作为初中生生存与纵深发展的重要能力，基于核心素养的初中地理课堂教学系统阐释了地理教学过程中知识、能力、情感、素养的基本内涵，倡导数学教师在地理课堂实践中要以人为本，培养有人文底蕴、有责任担当的新时代人才。对此，在地理课堂教学中教师要努力发展初中生的核心素养。对此，文章就学生地理核心素养的培养及教学方法谈几点自己的建议。
