    基于现代信息技术发展，BIM技术在工程行业逐渐实现了大范围的推广，如：水电、轨道、公路、市政交通等，并逐渐在工程实践中认可了BIM的价值。本文首先分析了我国BIM技术的发展情况，其后详细探讨了市政道路设计中BIM技术的应用优势，并就BIM技术的实际应用情况展开论述，以期可供参考。
