    小学阶段的学生在身心方面的发展决定了小学阶段的教育方式不同于其他学段，小学生活泼好动，对于事物的探究有着一定的好奇心。在小学英语学科教学中，充分运用教育游戏来吸引小学生注意，从而引起对英语的学习兴趣以及有效地提高英语学习效果，是小学英语教学方法的重要手段。
