    Abstract：

    词汇学习历来是英语学习的重点与难点，是许多中职学生失去英语学习兴趣的重要原因之一，是提升学生英语自主学习核心素养的关键，是山区中职英语课堂教学有效性提升的突破口。本文通过对当前山区中职英语教与学存在的问题与词汇教学重要性两方面的分析，提出以改革词汇教学方法为教学突破口，激发学生的学习兴趣、树立学习自信、培养自主学习的能力，以达到提升山区中职英语教与学的质量。
