    Abstract：

    基于素质教育的不断推进，各个学科在教学活动中都要结合德育教育来展开教学工作，渗透思想教育，提升文化素养。英语作为一门语言学科，教学活动离不开文字材料内容，当前课程标准改革又提出了以文化品格等四大内容为主的英语核心素养，这就要求教师要创新教学方法，提升学生的文化品格。
