    新课改的提出以及实施，使得高中英语教学改革工作也在持续开展，提高高中英语课程教学质量需要注重培养学生的自主学习能力，学生自主能力同时也是现代人才所必备的基础能力之一。因此，高中英语教师需要强化自身对英语教学工作的认知，关注学生自主学习能力的培养。
