    本篇论文主要提出了听力的重要性和目前中国存在的听力教学模式，并指出了不足，从而引出了关联理论，作者认为在英语听力教学中应用关联理论会有所帮助，因此，作者在文中讲述了关联理论及其应用，在最后作者做了一个调查来证明了在听力教学中运用关联理论会有所提高的这个结论。
