    Abstract：

    英语是一门语言类的学科，既然是语言类的学科就自然离不开大量阅读的积累。随着教育水平的不断提高，阅读对于英语教学的重要程度在不断提高，尤其是初中英语，更需要靠大量的阅读来增加词汇量和写作素材。但是现阶段的英语阅读教学还存在一些问题，因此，本文针对初中英语阅读教学存在的问题及策略进行探讨分析，以供参考。
