单元整体教学作为一种以学生为中心的教学模式，可以更好地促进学生的深度学习，培养批判性思维和问题解决能力；基于真实世界的问题或情境设计教学活动，使学习变得生动有趣，更容易引起学生的兴趣和好奇心；还可以促进学生个性化学习，在整体教学框架下，教师可以根据学生兴趣和能力提供多样化的学习资源和路径，支持学生的个性化发展。
