高中英语的教学目标不仅仅是让学生掌握语言知识，更重要的是培养学生的综合运用能力。读后续写是一项具有挑战性的写作题型，通过读后续写学生可以从一个给定的故事或文本中，进一步发挥自己的创造力和想象力，提升语言表达和写作能力。而如何有效地进行高中英语读后续写的教学则是一个需要探索和研究的问题。基于此，本文章对高中英语读后续写的有效教学策略进行探讨。
