    Abstract：

    在小学英语课堂教学活动中，教师要注重给学生创设良好的课堂学习环境，加强课堂活动的合理安排，保证学生的课堂学习效果得到增强。阅读作为语言学习的重要部分，在小学英语课堂教学中，尤其要注重学生阅读素养的培养，让学生掌握英语阅读的方法和技巧，学生的英语学习能力。教师也要注重引导学生学会读写结合训练，要让学生在写作训练学习中实现对英语语言的应用，进而可以促使学生的英语课堂学习效果得以提高。本文通过对小学英语课堂教育现状展开分析，希望提出在英语课堂中有效开展阅读教学的策略。
