    Abstract：

    城镇燃气工程在现阶段面临更高难度，为了切实优化城镇燃气工程整体构建效果，积极引入运用先进技术手段极为必要，其中BIM技术的应用可以发挥出较强的作用价值。文章以城镇燃气工程中BIM技术的应用作为研究对象，首先简要介绍了BIM技术及其应用特点，然后基于城镇燃气工程全过程探讨了如何运用BIM技术，最后论述了BIM技术的应用价值，希望引起同行重视。
