    翻译的标准是检验一切翻译理论是否合理的唯一准绳.本文旨在从直译和意译的基本定义出发,依据翻译的标准,针对直译与意译各自的优势与劣势分别加以论述.并从实际的翻译活动出发,总结了直译与意译所遵守的基本规则,强调要辩证地看待二者并在翻译活动中灵活运用.
