    文章简单梳理了城市城镇开发边界划定的思路，确认基本划定原则与主要影响条件。为保证研究的可参考性，以桂林为对象，分析其地区条件、生态保护红线、永久基本农田与承载力水平。进一步对其未来区域条件变化进行预测探究，结合城镇总体发展状况，说明划定结果。
