    Abstract：

    素质教育的核心理念是促进学生德、智、体、美、劳全面发展.然而,受应试教育的影响,一些中学只注重学生智力和道德修养的培养,忽视了体育课在初中阶段的重要性.为了从根本上改变这种状况,教育部根据体育教育的实际情况,颁布了体育考试制度,以引起教师和学生对该制度的重视.该制度颁布后,从近几年中学生体育教育质量报告的分析来看,学生的体育教育质量有了明显的提高,说明体育考试的颁布确实起到了一定的监督作用.
