    Abstract：

    新课程应注重素质教育和能力培养,在英语教学中,要注重语言实践能力的培养,而阅读技能是语言实践能力之一.新的教育理念为英语教学指明了方向,教师应结合阅读教学实践,探索提高阅读教学效果的途径.在小学英语阅读教学中主要通过兴趣引导、情景模拟、设计有效课堂等手段,提高了阅读教学的效率,回归了语言教学的现实.
