文章探究了社会教育的缘起与内涵,梳理了我国图书馆社会教育出现、形成和发展的演变过程,阐述了图书馆社会教育的功能,即灌输终身教育理念、关注弱势群体、信息公平、培养信息技能、促进文化和谐,以期推动当前图书馆社会教育的顺利开展并助力.
