    Abstract：

    根据新课标的要求,初中英语教学应该以提高学生核心素养为教学方向并结合教学内容完善教学体系,帮助学生提高英语学习兴趣,并培养学生良好的学习习惯.新课改提出,要将课堂还给学生让学生能够成为课堂的主人,而老师主要起引领作用.而初中英语教学中最重要的就是有关阅读方面的知识讲解.阅读能力的提高在一定程度上能够帮助学生整体英语水平的提高,所以老师在初中英语教学期间尤其需要注意,依据教学目的,基于核心素养的培养,为学生英语成绩的提高完善教学体系.
