    Abstract：

    在英语教学中,传统英语拓展阅读模式过于单调,教学方式枯燥,对于提高学生的学习兴趣产生很大的阻碍,同时还会大大降低教学成效.本文简要论述初中英语课堂上选择拓展阅读内容的基础原则,并分析拓展阅读融入英语课堂的途径,以期为初中英语教学效果及学生英语阅读水平的提高夯实基础.
