    Abstract：

    新课标对中学英语教学提出了更高的要求,为了提升英语教学的效果,教师就要认识到情感教育的重要性,在教学中合理的运用情感教育,激发学生的英语学习兴趣和热情,进而做到寓教于情,重视学生的体验及感受,尊重学生,促进学生学习效果的提升.本文通过分析情感教育在初中英语教学中运用的意义,进而提出了有效的运用策略,促进情感教育作用的发挥,提升教学质量.
