    Abstract：

    学科核心素养的培养是新课程标准在贯彻落实素质教育理念时的新要求,而英语阅读教学作为初中英语教学的主要内容之一,在培养学生的英语学科核心素养方面扮演着非常重要的角色.英语核心素养的培养不仅为优化初中英语阅读教学提供了可能,而且能有效提升学生的综合素养.基于此,笔者在本文中首先以英语核心素养的概述为切入点进行研究,接着又从多个角度对初中英语阅读教学中培养学科核心素养的重要意义进行了分析,最后,关于如何在加强初中英语阅读教学的同时重视学科核心素养的培养,笔者提出了自己的观点.
