    本文基于作者自身的实际工作经验,首先简单分析了公共图书馆的社会教育内容,然后主要就如何有效发挥公共图书馆的社会教育功能提出了部分探讨性建议,以期能为《公共图书馆法》实施背景下的公共图书馆如何发挥好自身职能提供一定的参考.
